Club Rules

Eligibility‍

Slow Club offers membership to individuals who are at least 21 years old at the time of acceptance, subject to the Membership Committee's sole discretion and all applicable rules. By applying for Slow Club membership, you agree to the terms and conditions of this Membership Agreement. You also represent and warrant that you are at least 21 years old and authorized to enter into this agreement.

Membership

Slow Club offers two types of Memberships: Social Membership & Storage Membership.

Social Memberships are annual, beginning on the membership start date. They renew automatically each year after the initial term. These memberships are non-refundable and cannot be placed on hold. To discontinue a Social Membership, members must provide the club with a 30-day written notice before their renewal date. The Membership Committee reserves the right to revoke any member's membership at any time, at its sole discretion, without providing a reason.

Storage Memberships are available as 6-month or annual contracts and begin on the Storage Agreement’s effective date. Storage Memberships do not automatically renew and require either a new storage agreement or transition to a Social Membership to maintain active member status. The Membership Committee reserves the right to revoke the Storage Membership of any member, at any time, at its sole discretion, but is required to provide a reason in the event that vehicle storage is also being revoked.

Membership Fees & Deposit‍

Upon acceptance, members will be charged a one-time, non-refundable initiation fee. Applicable membership fees will be billed annually or on the effective date of a new contract.

Membership Cancellation‍

To cancel membership, written notice must be sent to info@slow.club at least 30 days before the end of the membership term. All outstanding balances must be settled within this 30-day period.

Member Access‍

Members have daily access to the clubhouse during the normal business hours of 7AM to 8PM, unless club, public, or private events are taking place. Workstations, simulators, and seating areas are available to our members on a first-come, first-served basis.

Guests‍

Each member may invite up to three guests at a time. All guests must be registered via the Member Portal before arriving at the clubhouse. Guests will not be granted access to the Club until the member is present. Members are fully responsible for their guests' conduct and behavior, as well as for all facilities used by them in the Club. Members should use discretion when inviting guests. If the Committee deems a guest's visits too frequent, that guest may be refused entry or invited to apply for membership. As a guideline, more than four visits per year is generally considered excessive. Spouses, significant others, and children under 21 are welcome at any time.

Children‍

Guests under 21 are welcome at the club during normal business hours and most RSVP'd events. Members are solely responsible for children in their care and must ensure they are supervised at all times while at Slow Club.

Events‍

Most events have a limit on attendees. Members and their guests are not confirmed for any event until they RSVP. Some events at Slow Club or other locations may incur an additional charge. All prices will be stated in the event descriptions beforehand. Generally, attendance is on a first-come, first-served basis, so we encourage you to RSVP for desired events as soon as possible.

Parking‍

Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Members should be respectful of surrounding businesses and park in allotted spaces as close to Slow Club's unit as possible. Members and guests must not speed, drive recklessly, rev engines, or perform burnouts near the property. Anyone found behaving inappropriately may be asked to leave, and their membership may be revoked.

Appropriate Conduct‍

Slow Club reserves the sole discretion for entry of any member or guest. If the activities of a member or guest are deemed illegal, disruptive, inappropriate, or potentially a legal or repetitional liability inconsistent with Member Code of Conduct and the Terms & Conditions of the Membership Agreement, action may be taken. Slow Club does not serve or sell alcohol, though alcoholic beverages are available. Members are solely responsible for their alcohol consumption and conduct before, during, and after drinking. Management reserves the right to refuse access and escort patrons off the premises at any time for any reason—or no reason at all.

Membership Property‍

Slow Club is not responsible for any missing or stolen property. Members are solely accountable for the safety, security, and potential loss—partial or total—of their personal belongings and those of their guests. This includes damage and theft.

Personal Information & Change of Address‍

Slow Club requires all active members to maintain current contact information on file, including email address, physical address, and phone number. Members are responsible for promptly updating their personal details with Slow Club to ensure they receive all notices and up-to-date information.

Updates to Rules‍

Slow Club's Management reserves the right to modify the Membership Agreement, Club Rules, membership levels, and benefits at any time. Any changes to club rules will be communicated to members through our website or other appropriate channels.

Welcome to the club.
